Singapore Cat Festival

Here's the work I did for one of my module's final project ! I really loved how it turned out and would honestly say that I had fun creating a design promotion. I wanted to do this event since I'm a big cat lover and personally own cats. As much as I love my work, i faced difficulties during the printing process of my poster and brochure and had to reprint over and over till it looked the way I want.

For the promotion part of this project, i created an instagram promo post, instagram promo story, poster and brochure:

I made my merchandise based on the 3 cats I illustrated on the promotion designs (posters, brochure etc.). Other than that, I wanted it to focus on the main message which was "Adopt, don't shop". Personally, I feel that we should spread more awareness on this since there's so many cats in the world that are left in adoption shelters for the rest of their lives and aren't getting enough love. Instead of purchasing cats from shops or getting them from breeders, we should adopt instead ! There's also an adoption drive during the event which would be a great chance for you to look for a cat if you're looking to get one.
